Steel Fabrication, & Solid Surface Founded in 1888, Abbott Vascular is
a broad based health care company which discovers, develops, manufactures, and
markets global pharmaceutical and medical products focusing primarily on
cardiovascular care. Awarded the contract for Abbott Vascular, Temecula East
Campus project by DPR Construction, SMI successfully met the unique challenges
typical in the compressed schedules of large, fast paced projects such as this.

A visitor's first impression is the Security
Desk centrally located inside the Main Lobby, fabricated with an internal
die-wall structure and overlaid with radius solid surface panels, integrated
computer monitors and under-mounted lighting are among many form-function
features prevalent throughout this modern facility. Radius Casework with custom
formed laminated doors, custom Banquette Seating, Stainless Steel Table Frames
with Solid Surface Table Tops are placed throughout the other first floor
common areas.
As dedicated office space, Floors 2 through
5 utilize our standard Premium Grade Plastic Laminated Casework manufactured
per the guidelines set forth by the Woodwork institute with many repetitious
elevations as follows:
Coffee areas with segmented casework, radius solid
surface counters and full height back splashes.
Satellite & Print / Fax areas with circular
Stainless Steel counter grommets over recycle & trash
receptacles.
Work Rooms provide substantial casework storage
capacity while providing large counter top work surfaces.
Hoteling areas using laminated plastic tops w/
integrated 3form dividers for privacy.
Kitchenette & Break areas are spacious with large
built-in appliances.
Form decorative panel dividers inserted into aluminum
ceiling & wall channels provide an aesthetic treatment.
Plain Sliced American Black Walnut Wall Panels and
Banquette seating decorate the 3rd Floor Board Room with custom seat cushions,
fabric wall panels and custom casework & pass-through with bi-folding
doors.
