The 3-story, 43,000 square foot facility has
an academic wing and administration wing. SMI Millwork teamed with CW Driver on
this project to provide wood casework, reception desks, administrative desks,
conference areas, restrooms and running trim. |
Most notable is the wall paneling provided in
the lecture room. This ½" thick bamboo paneling has a integrated hole
pattern in it for acoustical properties. Machining of the panels consisted of
approximately 30,000 holes per 3'6" x 6' panel of 3mm holes at 3/16" staggered
centers. |
