This building was designed with the intent to
be LEED certified building to which "LEED PLATINUM" has been awarded to the
buildings owners, Platinum is the highest level and obviously the most
difficult to achieve. SMI's role was to furnish locally manufactured cabinets,
countertops, reception desk, custom fixtures with LEED compliant material as
specified by the architect. |
Some of the LEED materials are; Dakota wheat
board, Dakota burl, marmolumiun, paper stone, and some typical materials more
easily recognizable as select maple, laminate Avonite solid surface tops and of
course paint grade MDF wood base. |
