SMI Architectural Millwork and our teams of specialists will fabricate and install Countertops made from Wood Veneers, Solid Stock Hardwoods and Live Edge Slabs, Natural Slab Stone, Man-made High-Quality Resins, Stainless Steel and Plastic Laminates to enhance any cabinetry style required for your project. SMI uses project typical materials to the exotic while capturing quality and appearance for any budget. Combining materials to add highlights to your countertops such as in-laid stone, stainless steel strips or using multiple woods in cross grained patterns allows our experienced craftsmen to enjoy building your most unusual designer products.

SMI Architectural Millwork specializes in all types of wall paneling of different materials. Using Solid Stock Hardwoods, Wood Veneers, Plastic Laminates and Resin Panels combined with other products such as Frye and Flannery Metal Reglet Extrusions, Mirrors, Tiles and Fabrics to implement your design intent. No wall to large or ceiling too tall for our experienced and trained installation team to install your finished products. SMI can provide any Architectural Matched Veneer Panels, whether Random, Running, Sequenced or Blueprint Matched will enhance your projects look and the desire of your design team.

SMI Architectural Millwork is known for our custom One-of-a-Kind Reflected Ceilings. Using many of the products listed above in our Wall Paneling information along with the special requirements for ceiling panels. SMI will Install all our ceiling panels in coordination with our General Contractors Structural requirements. Working with the clients Framing and Steel Contractors SMI coordinates with the team(s) to in-sure that the Local Building Departments attachments, means and methods are installed to the required standards. SMI works to the to in-sure success during the interim and final Building Department inspections.

SMI Architectural Millwork with our two AQMD approved in-house spray booths can do all your finishing within our facility. Our expert staff of finishers mix stains to match the colors needed for your color palette. This includes finishing for natural wood or solid colors as needed for your project. From the simplest Clear Coat Finishing, Stain, Seal & Finish in Matte or Gloss we can finish all woods hard and soft. SMI finishers use Pre-cat Lacquers, Polyurethanes, Wood Penetrating Oils, Bar Top Resins among others as may be needed to complete your project.

SMI Architectural Millwork in coordination with our 2nd Tier Team of Metal and Stone Fabricators combine our engineering and millwork to create the fixtures required for your project. Just as you, as a General Contractor, utilize many Sub-contractors for the building projects for your clients, we at SMI offer One-Stop-Shopping for you and your Architectural needs. SMI will coordinate materials and the fabrication of other materials, as well as the Metal and Stone required for your project.
